I got the floss for Mike’s new puzzle design from The Gentle Art today!

So what happened with that little 8 x 8 design, the one that looked good on the screen but not so good in the test-stitching?

Those designs I sketched yesterday? Well, I stitched a couple and…YUK! They look so much better on the screen than on the fabric.

I wish I had kept track of how long I spent today playing with a new design. It’s in the family of EmbroiderMe! Bracelets, except it’s not a bracelet.

I’m already at a standstill on the new cross stitch project. Sigh. I’m out of the floss. The order is in; more should arrive next week. We’re using The Gentle Art threads, along with DMC. As I mentioned previously, this design is perfect for hand-dyed threads.
