Are you kidding? What else would I be doing? Um…what are you doing?
This is the book I was looking for at the library (I’ve been looking for it all summer), but it was checked out (it’s been checked out all summer), which is great because…
I got this one instead, and it’s delightful! No review: I’m only half-way through it. I’m reading it as a writer, though (i.e., critically), paying special attention to characterization, and I’ll say already that I think David Lubar does a great job of creating realistic characters with depth, and he does it quickly and subtly.
And I’m stitching more bookmarks for the Make-It/Take-It events coming up Oct. 14 and 20. I want to have several in varying stages of completeness, some on fancy fabrics, and some on white aida. Boy-oh-boy it’s been a long time since I stitched on white aida! And with two strands of floss. I generally use three. It’s fun!
