Whoosh!

Yikes! Is it too late to say “Happy New Year”? What does it mean that I’m Happy-New-Year-ing a week late?

I’m putting the finishing touches on TNNA preparations. Or, time is running out so I’m packing up what is prepared. Same thing.

It’s customary to reflect on the past year and to set some goals for the coming year, but I haven’t done that. I’m so focused on the TNNA and CHA shows that I don’t have a good view of the Big Picture, a can’t-see-the-forest-for-the-trees thing.

I could feel behind my time, left out of the world-wide resolution hoopla, but I won’t. Okay, I’ll try not to. Instead, I’ll imagine I’m ahead of the year. I set my goals and made my resolutions for 2008 back in November when I decided to add CHA to my trade show list, even though I had already added a second TNNA show. After all, I know what I’m doing from now through mid-June.

January 9-13: Long Beach, CA, TNNA NeedleArts Market
February 9-13: Anaheim, CA, CHA Winter Trade Show
March 20-May 8: Needle and ThREAD: Stitching for Literacy 2008 Bookmark Challenge
June: Columbus, OH, TNNA NeedleArts Market
In between: Puzzle books for Taku Graphics, puzzles for Evan-Moor, etc.

Ready or not, here we go! Welcome 2008!
