One of my favorite stitcher-bloggers is sharon b. We’ve been to her site(s) before, but there is so much to explore, chances are good we’ll go again and again.
For starters, she’s moved her blog. The new one is beautiful, so when you have a chance, take a look.
What I want to point out in particular, though, is a series of posts tagged For the Love of Stitching Band Sampler. This is the story of sharon b’s 33+ foot band sampler, band-by-band. You did not read that wrong, and that is not a typo: thirty-three feet, two inches, to be precise. It’s a truly amazing work of art and journal of a stitcher’s life. As of this moment, there are 17 posts in this category.
sharon b is in Australia. So is the Great Barrier Reef.
You can access the series here. Because it’s a blog, you have to go to the end to get to the beginning. Got that? The most recent posts are what appear first, so if you want to read them in order, you have to scroll down to the beginning, which, as of today, is at the bottom of page 4.
If you want to test the waters before you jump in (chicken!), the first post of the series is here.
sharon b is a needlework hero to me.
