Needle and ThREAD

The Needlework Show

needlework-show-logo.jpgIt’s almost here. The Needlework Show opens next week, on April 15.

The Needlework Show is an online trade show. Like the wholesale trade shows organized by The National NeedleArts Association, only retailers can make purchases. Unlike other wholesale trade shows, consumers can browse and participate in various drawings and games, including the now traditional Funk & Weber Designs puzzle contest.

I want to call your attention to a contest Pine Glen Designs is holding during The Needlework Show. Chef Tiger is offering not one, not two, but three complimentary bookmark patterns as part of this contest: you stitch one, you get the pattern for the next. If you stitch all three, you are entered into a drawing.

So you can stitch bookmarks for the Bookmark Challenge, get up to three complimentary patterns, and be entered into a drawing for a Pine Glen Designs prize all at the same time. Whew!

That’s a bit of stitching, but you can do it between browsing the different pages of the show, as they load, making a slow connection might feel like a blessing.

I wanted to give you a heads up so you can get started right away on the 15th. You can find details about the contest here, though it doesn’t start until the show opens.
