The Monday “What have you done lately?” accountability post, where I announce my Needle and Thread: Stitching for Literacy program promotion goal for the week and fess up on last week’s goal.
Two weeks ago, my first goal was to enjoy the company of our Favorite Niece during her post-graduation visit to Alaska.
Success!
My second goal was to share some images of her visit.
Failure!
We took something like 1,400+ pics, and Mike has edited them down to 670-something. We dropped a disk of them in the mail to the Favorite Niece today, and you’ll see some here and/or on Facebook in the coming days.
It’s back to business at Funk & Weber and the old homestead, so time to set a new Stitching for Literacy goal for the week.
I want to begin creating guidelines and resources for arranging and hosting Outreach events, tools we can all use. I’m not sure what this will entail, so I’m not sure how much time it will take. I think my goal for the week will be getting a handle on that, seeing what is needed, making an outline, and breaking the job into doable tasks. I need a plan.
Your turn. What’s your goal for this week?
If you’d like to be more involved in planning Needle and Thread: Stitching for Literacy events and working behind-the-scenes, please join our Yahoo Group.
The group allows participants to share ideas and resources, and we’d love to have your help.
