Model Stitching

When I contacted the Anchorage libraries to set up the Needle and Thread: Stitching for Literacy bookmark make-it/take-its, I gave the library my Read-It, Read-It model. I had only one. So now I’m stitching a new one for my TNNA display, and I’m using an actual printed leaflet.

This is the first time I’ve ever stitched from one of our leaflets!

Normally, I print a draft of the pattern on scrap paper rather than use a salable leaflet, but at the moment, using a leaflet is most convenient.

That may sound trivial–okay, it is trivial–but I’m getting a real kick out of it!

Sorry, no picture. I’m not working on my computer. Hmm…that also explains the lack of posts recently, if you think about it. My posting ability should improve tomorrow or Friday.
