Humpback Bubble Netting

Shelly alerted me to bubble netting videos on YouTube. For obvious reasons, we only see the surface results of the act, but that’s cool in and of itself. I want to see the underwater action, too, though, I’m afraid. I want to see a bunch of whales swimming in circles, blowing bubbles. And I want to see a column of bubbles. Guess I’ll have to go scuba diving in those chilly Southeast waters, eh?

Can you imagine scuba diving with a bunch of humpbacks?! In brutally cold water?! I’m sure it could be done, but probably not by me. I’ll bet there is already high-quality footage of this, perhaps in Planet Earth.

Did you notice the open skiffs and kayaks?
