Weekend Site Seeing

Today I’m sending you to the readergirlz blog to see a video they re-posted from YouTube, originally made by John Green.Twilight, which will make sense after you go site seeing.

I could post the video here myself, send you to YouTube, or send you to one of John Green’s sites, but I’m sending you to the readergirlz blog because in addition to the video there’s some great discussion going on about this month’s book, The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks, by E. Lockhart.

I’m so excited because I finally got a book in time to participate in the discussion, and oh what a book! I plan to write about it tomorrow in my Reading Roundup, so for now I’ll just say it’s one I’m going to be buying for gifts and recommending often.

If it’s been translated into Spanish, I want a Spanish copy for Operation TBD.

  1. Thank you for participating in the discussions this month! Frankie is such a great book, and E. is a fantastic author. 🙂

I just did a quick online search for the book in Spanish, but to no avail. Contact the publisher and ask!

Scholastic has been releasing a lot of books in Spanish lately – I often see new editions of Goosebumps!

  2. Thank you for having book discussions, LW! I wish I could participate in more. The blog is great because when I read a book months after it’s featured, I can go back and read the discussions.

I agree that E. is a fantastic author. I loved Dramarama, too, and will check out all her books when I can.

Thanks for the tip on finding Spanish editions. I’ll contact Hyperion.
