Visiting Needlework Shops

Arctic Needle in Anchorage, AK, is having an Open House/Show-and-Tell on February 24th.  I’ll be there, weather permitting.  Yay!  My models are already there, but I’ll see what other interesting doo-dads I can scrape together.  I’ll take the original hand-drawn patterns of some of our first designs, perhaps.  Hmmm…I wonder where they are.

I’ll be doing an Alaska slide show at BushMountain Stitchery in Montoursville, PA, on April 23, and with luck a class in early June.  The slide show takes a look at our years of winter caretaking in the Bush (no electricity, running water, neighbors…) and how we came to design needlework.  More on the class as logistics shake out.

If you’re in the PA/MD/VA/OH area and would like to have a slide show or class at your local shop during May, have your shop owner contact me at: mail (at) funkandweber (dot) com.
