The Monday “What have you done lately?” accountability post, where I announce my Needle and Thread: Stitching for Literacy program promotion goal for the week and fess up on last week’s goal.
Having fallen off the blogging horse for two weeks, my first goal is to get back on it.
There. Done.
I don’t suppose that will do for a weekly goal, though, will it? That’s okay, I have one on my To Do list already.
As you may or may not know, The National NeedleArts Association (TNNA) embraced the Needle and Thread: Stitching for Literacy program shortly after it came into being. TNNA has made it part of their Helping Hands Foundation, a non-profit youth outreach program.
One of my long-term goals is to expand and strengthen the outreach branch of Stitching for Literacy. To that end, my goal for this week is to contact the Foundation to discuss ways we might work together to do that. I have a number of ideas, so we’ll see what works best for both organizations.
What are your goals for this week? Any goals you have, needlework or not, count. List them in the comments here so we can hold you accountable. As I rediscover over and over, stating a goal publicly increases one’s odds of reaching it.
Be brave–spill!
