New S4L Blogger Puzzle Contest

The New S4L Blogger Puzzle Contest begins on Friday, as in two days from today. You’ll have until Tuesday, January 25, to submit your answer via email to mail AT funkandweber DOT com and enter the contest.

Why should you enter? Let me count the ways.

  1. Solving puzzles keeps the brain sharp.
  2. Solving puzzles is fun.
  3. You can invite the kids, grandkids, parents, or pets to help, creating a fun family activity.
  4. The contest will include a tour of some nifty blogs–besides this one.
  5. You’ll learn who the new Stitching for Literacy blogger is before non-puzzlers.
  6. If you play with me, I’ll have more fun and be more likely to offer more contests.
  7. Welcome our new blogger with enthusiasm.
  8. Because it’s too rainy, cold, snowy, icy, hot, ___ (fill in the blank) to go outside.
  9. Everyone who enters will get a coupon to the new Funk & Weber online shop. (I’m throwing my hat over the fence: I have no idea how to create coupons. Now I have to learn!)
  10. There will be prizes!

New S4L Blogger Puzzle Contest prizes

Two randomly selected winners from the non-stitcher entrants (you’ll have to identify yourselves as such–I’ll remind you) will win Funk & Weber-made bookmarks. For stitchers, I’m giving away a Going, Going, Gone! baseball bookmark kit and a bookmark-maker’s toolkit with assorted backings, hardware, beads, vinyl protectors, ribbon, stitchbands, and whatever else I think of between now and the day I mail it. To top it off, our new blogger is jumping right in with new pattern pdf for someone.

Details posted on Friday. I hope you’ll be here!

  1. I will try again to solve your puzzle…As I have said before: Your puzzles are quite a challenge and it is not easy to win your prizes. And that makes it more ehe fun to try, because it is exclusive!

This weekend I am going off to join some scouts in a cabin to have meetings and winter games 😉 So there will be many ways to involve everybody to help me win!!! Ehe- I do not think they will help, so do not worry. They have high moral: do it yourself and earn it! I do hope I will have time to try out your puzzle, though!

I am glad you have a companion to help you write and share! I am looking forward to it.

    Best regards from Harriet

PS I am well into stitching due to the JFW Creative Calendar Planning 😉 Pictures comes to your mail soon 😉

  2. Feel free to ask the scouts to help with the puzzle, Harriet. That can be great fun.

I look forward to seeing your Creative Gifts projects. Though I’m not making new design models instead of gifts at the moment, I think the calendar motivates me, and it certainly has helped organize me.
