Remember that New Pattern Puzzle Contest we had here, oh, last month?
Cathymk asked to see answers to the puzzles. A reasonable request to which I readily agreed. What neither of us expected was that it would take me this long to get them posted. Uh…sorry Cathymk. I didn’t forget. I’ve been thinking about you for several weeks now. Finally, at long last, you can see the answers to the puzzles here.
I’ve posted Ghost Rock before, but it’s in keeping with my Rock Kick, so you get to see it again. Australia, limestone pinnacle. We took a ton of rock pics here. A storm blew through and the clouds and shadows were great.
Compiling the answers was harder than it should have been. I didn’t save the sudoku puzzle in the program that created it, and apparently I didn’t keep my test puzzle, so I had to solve it again (shucky-darn) and then type it up. No big deal, but it takes time, and I kept putting it off.
You’ll notice I slacked on…I think it’s puzzle 4…the one with the red text. I was lazy. I created those puzzles in three separate programs, and I didn’t want to go back and re-do all the steps. Normally, when I prepare puzzles for publication, I take care of answers at the same time I create the puzzles. That’s a million times easier. Why I didn’t do that this time is beyond me. Brain flatulence, there’s no other excuse.
Anywho. For anyone who still wants to know, answers are finally posted.

You’re welcome, cathymk. Those things can be hard!
It’s funny, but I can go back to a puzzle that I created and be totally stumped. Not kidding!
