I came across this during a stash search today:

I kinda sorta recall stitching it, but I don’t recall a specific purpose for the piece. I think I was just trying out a double blanket stitch, or whatever the stitch might be called. I tend to make up stitch names.

I’m an avid noodler (needlework doodler), and I keep the vast majority of noodles I create, even seemingly useless things like this. You never know how or when it might come in handy. You can imagine what my stash looks like.

I have no intention of changing my ways. Today I looked at this noodle, and I discovered a very cool (I think) bookmark-in-progress! Wait and see.
