In addition to the Big Five, Africa is home to many fascinating small animals. We’ve seen more in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park than anywhere else.
Another day in KTP in which we encounter a late porcupine, a chirruping cheetah, animals resting “in contact,” and an extremely cautious giraffe.
We’ve been waiting, watching, and hoping to see our first cheetahs in the wild, and here, at last, they are in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.
I don’t imagine anyone comes to Africa to see a quelea swarm at a water hole, but maybe they should. It’s fascinating! So are cheetahs, of course.
