Wildlife sightings to and on the Khwai River more than make up for a horrendously bumpy road, a flat tire, and a shortened visit.
Our first day trip out of Maun, a safari self-drive out the sand road to the South Gate of Moremi National Park, gave us some nice views of wildlife.
