We re-supplied in Opuwo and headed southwest to Puros, a tiny village in Kaokoland. We didn’t actually go to Puros, but explored the surrounding area.

From the Kunene River at the northernmost edge of Namibia, we traveled down to Opuwo, popping up to see the impressive Epupa Falls on the way.

We left Etosha National Park through the Galton Gate and headed northwest through the mountains to the Kunene River, which separates Namibia from Angola.

Moving west to Okaukuejo in Etosha National Park, we find the landscape gets drier and animals get fewer and more concentrated around the waterholes.
