We’re visiting the Mahango Core Area of Bwabwata National Park. It’s small but full of (different) wildlife and not full of people.
Elephants were the star attractions on our drive along the Chobe Riverfront. Hundreds of elephants visit the river to drink, bathe, and play.
Watching lions, hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and more is not a bad way to spend a day. The drive from Savuti to the Chobe Riverfront was full of active wildlife.
Morning and evening game drives (which wind up taking all day) in Chobe National Park turn up elephants, zebras, mongooses, bee eaters, wildebeest, and more.
After two nights camped along the Khwai River, we headed to the Savuti Marsh in Chobe National Park. This is what we saw.
