Something funky happened here (no pun intended). I responded to your question and submitted it, but it didn’t show up for some reason. Anyway, the kids enjoy Weird Al and his videos, and sometimes we watch them together. The “Bob” video caught my eye under the Related Videos heading one day, and the word “palindrome” caught my eye. Of course I had to watch it…and I loved it, even without my lack of historical knowledge. Check out “White and Nerdy” and “eBay”. By the way, did you ever read Kingsolver’s Poisonwood Bible? One of the main characters was enchanted with palindromes and there were a good many in the book. If memory serves me, there were even whole passages of palindromes.

Mike knew about it. Somehow. He’s not seen the movie, either, but he knew about it, too, and I expect it’s on his Netflix list now.

I had no idea of the origin of the spoof, other than it being Dylan, of course. Is that just something you knew, or did you do a little research? I read the review of the Dylan movie and I’ve got to say I’m definitely interested in watching it. Good stuff.
