Bookmark Challenge Update
Sue from Nordic Needle sent news about their Needle and Thread: Stitching for Literacy 2007 Bookmark Challenge collection. To date, they’ve received over 100 bookmarks from 15 different states (MN, KY, WI, IA, NV, CA, TX, AZ, MA, MO, MI, OR, PA, UT and SC) and three foreign countries (UK, New Zealand, and Bermuda).
How great is that?!
The bookmarks represent many different needlework techniques–appliqué, cross stitch, tatting, Hardanger, beading, plastic canvas, embroidery on paper, silk ribbon, canvaswork, bargello, and probably a few others.
Look at them!

Sue said it, but I have to agree, “Needleworkers are the BEST!”
