I shifted gears over the weekend. I cleaned up the piles of puzzle books, old puzzles, dictionaries, natural history and sports trivia books. I filed the 2007 receipts and records in the deep dark cubby behind the couch in the loft. I dusted and vacuumed. I sneezed and took Sudafed.

And I stitched. And stitched. And stitched.

Recently, Mike said he didn’t think I could get the year+-old New Puzzle Pattern finished in time for the June TNNA show. I am competitive. I am optimistic. I am stubborn. I am childish. And I will prove him wrong.

Watch me!
