We had to go to Staples today to get more ink and paper, and there was a Barnes & Noble right next door. I got excited thinking I might actually get to see the Nancy Drew activity books!

As soon as I stepped into the children’s section, an employee asked if he could help me find something, so I told him what I was looking for. He scowled and said, “What?” He’d never heard of Nancy Drew activity books. In fact, he’d never heard of Simon Scribbles. They didn’t have them.

Sigh.
