KFGL is Open!
Oh-oh-oh–Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge is open!
The first guests arrived Sunday afternoon.
A black bear arrived outside the lodge right on time for dinner.
The bear was watched from the dining room but not invited in.
From serviceable in June 2008, to…
…warm, cozy, and beautiful in 2009.
I’ll be heading out for a visit in under two weeks. I can’t wait! (Have you planned your trip to AK yet?)
