Writing Silly
With the upcoming activity book project and several needlework projects, I’ve given up trying to revise a novel I drafted in November. I’ll tackle that over the summer. Read and Stitch
Stitching while Mike reads aloud is one of my all-time favorite things to do. I could spend (and have spent) hours absorbed in this activity. During those hours, all is right in my world.

Book news

Pattern Success!

Preview Promenade Wrap-Up
The TNNA winter trade show is just days away. Designers and teachers are heading to San Diego. They’ll begin classes on Thursday, set up booths on Friday, then meet and mingle through Monday. Someday I’ll tell you about this in detail!
Splat!
Those designs I sketched yesterday? Well, I stitched a couple and…YUK! They look so much better on the screen than on the fabric.
Design Time
I wish I had kept track of how long I spent today playing with a new design. It’s in the family of EmbroiderMe! Bracelets, except it’s not a bracelet.
Useful Samplers
Check out the scissors case at the Preveiw Promenade. It’s a needlepoint sampler!
New Puzzle Pattern Progress
I’m already at a standstill on the new cross stitch project. Sigh. I’m out of the floss. The order is in; more should arrive next week. We’re using The Gentle Art threads, along with DMC. As I mentioned previously, this design is perfect for hand-dyed threads.
